How to Activate Your eSIM
Thanks for choosing Sing Sims — your connection to seamless global data. Setting up your eSIM is fast and easy. Follow the steps below depending on your device.
Step 1: Check Your Phone Is eSIM-Compatible
Before you begin, make sure your phone supports eSIM. Most newer iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel devices do.

Step 2: Open the Email We Sent You
Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive an email from Sing Sims with your unique eSIM details. It contains:
- QR code (for scanning on Apple or Android)
- “Click to Install” link (for Apple users only — no scanning needed)
- Activation instructions
For Apple Devices (iPhone XS and newer)
Quickest Method — Tap to Install
- Open the email on your iPhone.
- Tap the “Click to Install eSIM” link.
- Follow the prompts on screen.
- Label your new eSIM 'Sing Sims (The Country)' to easily keep track of your eSim.
- Done — your eSIM will be installed automatically
Double check:
- Phone Cellular Data is set to your new eSIM
- eSIM Roaming setting is set to ON
OR
Scan the QR Code
- Go to Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM / Add Cellular Plan.
- Choose Use QR Code.
- Scan the QR code from your email.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
- Label your new eSIM 'Sing Sims (The Country)' to easily keep track of your eSim.
- Done!
Double check:
- Phone Cellular Data is set to your new eSIM
- eSIM Roaming setting is set to ON
For Android Devices (Samsung, Pixel, etc.)
- Open Settings.
- Tap Connections → SIM Card Manager or Network & Internet → Mobile Network → + Add Carrier (this may vary slightly by phone).
- Choose Scan QR Code.
- Scan the QR code in your email.
- Follow the prompts and confirm installation.
- Done!
Double check:
- Phone Cellular Data is set to your new eSIM
- eSIM Roaming setting is set to ON
Step 3: Turn Data ON (if needed)
Some phones will automatically activate your eSIM. If not:
- Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Data
- Select your new Sing Sims eSIM
- Toggle 'ROAMING' ON and set it as your primary cellular/data line as needed. (IMPORTANT)
Tips for a Smooth Setup
- Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi during installation
- DO NOT DELETE the eSIM after installing, it can not be reinstalled — it’s tied to your plan
- If prompted to choose between Primary / Secondary / Data Only, select Data Only
- Don’t activate airplane mode during setup
- You can activate your eSIM before you arrive in the eSIM' country and then all you need to do is turn your phones Cellular/Data line to your Sing Sims eSIM when you arrive to be instantly connected!
